Just finished loading ten rounds of .458 Winchester magnum ammunition, setting Hornady 500 grain Interlocks onto my favorite load of IMR4064. This results on a heavily compressed load. The Lee Factory Crimp Die perfectly crimps the bullet into the case, unlike previous experiences I''ve had with the combination seating/crimping die. It imparts a hard crimp onto the round, perfect for this heavy recoiling round, since I load them at max velocities. I highly recommend this die for any caliber you may be loading. I also use it on 7mm Remington Magnum and .45 ACP.
