If you like a Browning Hi-Power, you will probably like the Arcus. Frankly, I think my Arcus is as good. Balance, handling accuracy is all there...as far as reliability, I have only run 2000 rounds thru it so far ]flawlessly[, mixed magazines with hollowpoints and FMJ, different weight ammo,, manufacturers etc, to see if I could make it fail. Hasn''t happened!! I''m not excited about de-cocking to DA....had one accidental discharge down range getting used to the gun.Must pull the hammer and release trigger slowly, but then I''m used to the decocking lever on my SigPro 2022.]duty pistol[ Once I got used to the Arcus decocking, I carry it in double action but shoot it in single action at the range. and the Arcus 98DAC is my carry concealed weaon of choice. I carry it with +p JHP, have not tried +p+ but I''m sure it will handle those hot loads as easily.
